Activity: Complete the Mijo Wholesalers spreadsheet and apply the required calculations and formatting.

Instructions

  1. Open Microsoft Excel.
  2. Enter the data exactly as shown above.
  3. Type Mijo Wholesalers in Cell A1.
  4. Select Cells A1:F1 and click Merge & Center.
  1. Format the sub-headings with a 40° Orientation.
  2. Calculate the following formulas:

Total

=Quantity * Unit Price

VAT

=Total * 14%

Total Price

=Total + VAT

Formatting Requirements

  • Format Columns C, D and F as South African Currency (R) with 2 decimal places.
  • Format Column E as Percentage with 0 decimal places.
  • Apply any border style to the table.
  • Shade the Stock names with Yellow.
  • Apply any Pattern Style to the shaded cells.
